Netflix has released the first trailer for Wes Anderson’s upcoming short film The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar. An adaptation of Roald Dahl’s short story of the same name, Anderson’s latest stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Ralph Fiennes, Dev Patel, Sir Ben Kingsley, and Richard Ayoade. The 39-minute film follows a rich man who learns of a guru who can see without using his eyes. He then attempts to master the skill—so he can cheat at gambling. Check out the trailer below.
The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar will be available to stream on Netflix on Wednesday, September 27. It recently premiered at the Venice Film Festival. Anderson has reinterpreted Roald Dahl’s work in the past, with his 2009 claymation film Fantastic Mr. Fox. His most recent feature, Asteroid City, came out earlier this year.
