Prime Video has shared the first teaser for its Mr. & Mrs. Smith reboot starring Donald Glover. The series, which also stars Maya Erskine, is set to premiere this November. Watch the brief teaser below beginning at 1:10 as part of a greater sneak peek at Amazon’s upcoming streaming lineup.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith is an update to the 2005 film of the same name, which stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as married assassins tasked with targeting each other. Glover was first confirmed to the cast in February 2021. It was originally reported that Glover would star opposite Phoebe Waller-Bridge, but she departed the project in September 2021 due to “creative differences.” Erskine joined the series in April 2022.
Glover’s Prime Video series Swarm, which chronicled toxic fandom, premiered on the streaming service in March. He also created and starred in the acclaimed FX series Atlanta, which aired its final episode in November 2022.
