The xx’s Romy has shared “The Sea,” a new song from her forthcoming solo debut Mid Air. The new track was written by Romy and co-produced by Fred again.. and Stuart Price. The song’s music video, which features Romy and her wife, director and photographer Vic Lentaigne, in a house and in a seascape, was directed by Mollie Mills. Check it out below.
“The Sea” follows recent Romy singles “Loveher,” “Enjoy Your Life,” and “Strong,” all of which feature on Mid Air. Romy is also on tour in support of the album this summer. The new LP is out September 8 via Young.
