The Linda Lindas have released a new single, a track titled “Resolution/Revolution.” The group made a video for the track out of clips that band members shot on their phones. Take a look below.

The band shared a statement about how “Resolution/Revolution” came together:

Bela had been rocking out to a lot of Pantera and Judas Priest when we started writing “Resolution/Revolution.” She came in with a riff and as we worked together, it morphed into composition about making small dents in big problems to make a difference in the long run. We’ve been playing the song live for a few weeks now, are excited to release it as a single, and hope it gives you a boost!

Since issuing their debut album Growing Up last spring, the Los Angeles quartet have shared their takes on Sleater-Kinney’s “Little Babies” and the Go-Go’s’ “Tonite.” They have a handful of dates with Paramore in August, and will open for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in Mexico City at the beginning of October.
