Noname has announced a block party surrounding the release of her new album Sundial. The Sundial Block Party takes place August 17 at 4310 S Lake Park Ave. in Chicago. Noname, Navy Blue, and Alex Vaughn will appear, as well as surprise guests. The event is free with the suggested donation to Noname Book Club of George Jackson’s Blood in My Eye, Toni Morrison’s Sula, or works from other Black authors. Sundial is out August 11. It features the previously announced track “Balloons” featuring Jay Electronica and Eryn Allen Kane, plus contributions from Common, billy woods, $ilkmoney, Jimetta Rose, and Ayoni.
