Vans and Mac Miller’s estate teamed up to release a limited-edition sneaker marking the five-year anniversary of the late rapper’s Swimming album. The shoe, which retails for $100, dropped on Thursday (Aug. 3) via the Miller’s website and sold out within hours.

A percentage of proceeds from the sales of the shoes collab will benefit the Mac Miller Fund, an organization founded after Miller’s death in 2018 that provides young musicians with grants and other resources.

For the collaboration, Vans flipped its classic Old Skool shoe in honor of Miller. The black sneaker has a yin and yang symbol and “Swimming by Mac Miller” written on the front. The sold of the shoe pays deeper homage to Miller with “1992 to ∞” for his birth year along with an infinity sign.

The shoe box channels aquatic vibes with an ombre colorway, “Swimming Mac Miller” written on the front and the Vans logo on the top.

The Pittsburgh native, whose birth name was Malcolm McCormick, passed away from an accidental overdose in September 2018. Swimming his fifth and final studio album was released just over a month before his death. The Grammy-nominated album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard album charts and landed at No. 14 on Billboard’s 50 Best Albums of 2018.

As expected, the sold-out Vans x Mac Miller collab has landed on the resale site, StockX, but with a steeper price tag and that original list price. Opening bids start at $111, but you can bid higher or lower in hopes of snagging the shoe for a decent price. If you want to buy instead of bid, the shoe is available for $500.
