Róisín Murphy has shared another new song from her upcoming album Hit Parade. The single “You Knew” also comes with remixes by London producer Payfone and New York house artist Eli Escobar. Listen to all three tracks, as well as an edit of “You Knew,” below.
“‘You Knew’ is the story of my life,” explained Murphy. “I’m an open book, I put myself on the line and I make my motivations obvious. Many times, I have bravely loved and not been loved in return, and I’m proud of that. That phrase, ‘You Knew,’ just sums it all up, in fact you could put it on my headstone, except I’ve already decided it’ll say… You Had Your Chance!”
The DJ Koze–produced Hit Parade arrives on September 8 via Ninja Tune. “You Knew” follows a string of excellent singles on the album, including “The Universe,” “Fader,” and “CooCool.” Murphy is currently on tour.
