Demi Lovato performed a medley of her songs at the 2023 VMAs, which was broadcast live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Joining her onstage were a guitarist, bassist, and drummer to perform rock renditions of “Heart Attack,” “Sorry Not Sorry,” and “Cool for the Summer.” Watch Lovato’s set below.

“Swine” is nominated for Best Pop and Video for Good at tonight’s ceremony. Lovato wrote the track as a response to the Supreme Court’s 2022 reversal of Roe v. Wade, and she released it on the one-year anniversary of the decision in June. Meriel O’Connell directed the accompanying video.

Lovato’s next album, Revamped, is due out September 15. The singer recently parted ways with manager Scooter Braun amid a wave of defections that includes Ariana Grande, J Balvin, and Idina Menzel.
